Vbeam Prima (Pulsed Dye Laser)
Dual 595nm + 1064nm wavelengths for vascular, pigment & melasma
About This Treatment
Vbeam Prima by Candela is the latest-generation pulsed dye laser with dual 595nm + 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelengths. Features 15mm max spot size, 12J energy, patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ + EverCool Contact Cooling. Treats vascular, pigmented lesions, and melasma comprehensively.
The 1064nm addition expands treatment to deep vascular lesions and melasma, with 85% of patients showing moderate-to-marked melasma improvement after 3 sessions.
Mechanism of Action
595nm selectively absorbed by oxyhemoglobin for intravascular thermal denaturation. 1064nm reaches melanin and deep vessels, suppressing melanocyte activity in melasma. Dynamic Cooling Device™ protects epidermis while optimizing dermal energy delivery.
Indications
Expected Results
Median 50% improvement in rosacea/telangiectasia after 2 sessions. 85% moderate-to-marked melasma improvement after 3 sessions. Low hyperpigmentation risk, suitable for darker skin types.
