About This Treatment
PicoSure Pro is a 755nm alexandrite picosecond laser delivering pulses ~100x shorter than traditional nanosecond lasers. Its photoacoustic effect shatters melanin pigment into micro-particles while minimizing thermal damage to surrounding tissue.
The Focus Lens Array creates controlled LIOB (Laser-Induced Optical Breakdown) within the epidermis, stimulating collagen and elastin remodeling with minimal downtime.
Mechanism of Action
755nm picosecond pulses are selectively absorbed by melanin, creating photoacoustic pressure waves that shatter pigment into micro-particles. The Focus Lens Array creates a 10×6mm fractional pattern of LIOB cavities beneath the epidermis to stimulate collagen remodeling.
Indications
Expected Results
