Ultraformer MPT
Korean micro-pulsed HIFU for contouring and laxity with low downtime
About This Treatment
Ultraformer MPT is a Korean micro-pulsed HIFU platform from CLASSYS. With cartridges at depths such as 2.0, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0 mm plus a faster MP mode, it is used across the forehead, periocular area, cheeks, jawline, submentum, and neck.
It has become one of the more visible Korean HIFU platforms in 2025-2026, often positioned for patients who want a balance of lifting, contouring, treatment speed, and lower downtime. Market availability and labeled indications vary by country and should be checked locally.
Mechanism of Action
Microfocused ultrasound creates thermal coagulation points in the deep dermis, near-SMAS plane, and superficial subcutis, producing immediate collagen contraction followed by weeks to months of collagen and elastin remodeling. MPT emphasizes flexible depth selection and micropulsed delivery so thinner periocular tissue and thicker lower-face or submental tissue can be treated more selectively.
Indications
Expected Results
After a single treatment, 3D analysis has reported lifting changes of about 3.4 mm in the posterior cheek, 3.1 mm at the mandibular line, and 3.5 mm in the neck. In the periocular area, a 12-week prospective study showed a mean eyelid-length improvement of about 0.94 mm with high patient satisfaction. Most patients are assessed after one session and maintained every 6-12 months if needed.

Risks & Side Effects
Warmth, treatment pain, redness, edema, tenderness, and transient papular swelling are the main risks. Less common issues include nerve irritation symptoms, myalgia, superficial burns, periosteal pain, or asymmetry, especially when depth selection is too aggressive in thin tissue.
