Sylfirm X
Dual-wave RF microneedling for melasma, redness & pores
About This Treatment
Sylfirm X by Viol is the world's first dual-wave (pulsed + continuous) RF microneedling device. Pulsed wave mode selectively targets abnormal vasculature and pigment, while continuous wave mode promotes dermal collagen remodeling.
Featured at IMCAS 2026, it's the only RF microneedling device capable of treating melasma.
Mechanism of Action
Pulsed Wave (PW) mode: High-voltage pulsed RF selectively targets abnormal basement membrane and vessels, suppressing aberrant angiogenesis and melanocyte activation in melasma. Continuous Wave (CW) mode: Non-insulated microneedles deliver continuous RF for uniform dermal heating and collagen/elastin remodeling. Combined modes enable comprehensive treatment.
Indications
Expected Results
3-5 treatments reduce melasma MASI score by 40-60%. Acne scars and pores significantly improve after 2-3 sessions. Lower rebound risk compared to laser toning. Maximum effect at 1-3 months post-treatment.
Clinical Evidence
Risks & Side Effects
