Spot Removal Laser
Q-switched/pico laser for solar lentigines removal
About This Treatment
Spot removal laser targets solar lentigines and shallow pigmented lesions using Q-switched or picosecond lasers. Efficiently shatters UV-accumulated melanin in epidermal basal layer for complete removal in 1-2 sessions.
Mechanism of Action
532nm (green) or 1064nm wavelength selectively absorbed by epidermal melanin; short pulse creates pressure wave. Pigment shatters to micro-particles, cleared by macrophages over weeks. Shallow lesions usually completely removed in 1-2 sessions.
Indications
Expected Results
90-100% spot removal in 1-2 sessions. Complete resolution in 2-4 weeks post-treatment. Low recurrence rate.
Clinical Evidence
Risks & Side Effects
