About This Treatment
Profhilo is a hybrid HA formulation (32mg/ml high-molecular-weight HA + 32mg/ml low-molecular-weight HA = 64mg/ml total) designed for bio-remodeling rather than volumization. The HA diffuses uniformly into the dermis, enhancing overall skin quality, hydration, elasticity, and luminosity.
Administered via BAP technique (5 injections per side in anatomically optimized positions). Results peak at 2-3 weeks and maintain for 9-12 months.
Mechanism of Action
High-MW HA (1500-2200 kDa) creates a hydration layer in the epidermis and upper dermis. Low-MW HA (100 kDa) penetrates deeper dermis and undergoes gradual biodegradation, triggering FGF and IGF-1-like signaling. This stimulates fibroblast collagen and elastin synthesis. BAP injection uses natural facial fascial planes for even, atraumatic diffusion.
