Post-GLP-1 Face and Body Restoration
Combined aesthetic planning after GLP-1-associated weight loss
About This Treatment
After GLP-1 receptor agonist-associated weight loss, more patients present with facial fat loss, hollowing, laxity, neck/arm/abdominal looseness and reduced muscle mass. This is a protocol rather than one product, combining fillers, biostimulators, RF/HIFU, muscle stimulation, nutrition and resistance training planning.
Mechanism of Action
After weight stabilizes, deep support may be addressed with HA/CaHA/PLLA, skin quality with PN/HA/laser, laxity with RF/HIFU and body changes with muscle stimulation or contouring. Avoid overcorrection during active weight loss.
Indications
Expected Results
Planning is best after weight has stabilized for 3-6 months. Demand is rising rapidly in 2026, but protocols require individualization.
Clinical Evidence
Risks & Side Effects
Overcorrection during active weight loss, filler excess, unnatural contour and missed malnutrition or lean-mass loss are risks. Coordination with the weight-loss prescriber is preferred.
