Nose Thread Lift
PCL/PDO threads for nose bridge & tip definition
About This Treatment
Non-surgical rhinoplasty using PCL/PDO absorbable threads inserted along the nasal dorsum and columella. HIKO technique uses 1-3 cog threads for tip definition and 4-8 mono/cog threads for bridge elevation.
Provides immediate structural support plus sustained collagen stimulation.
Mechanism of Action
Cog PCL/PDO threads inserted above nasal perichondrium grip tissue to elevate the tip. Parallel mono threads on the dorsum form a "bundle" for height. Thread degradation triggers fibrosis and neocollagenesis, maintaining volume after absorption.
Indications
Expected Results
Immediate nose bridge/tip improvement. PDO: 6-12 month duration, PCL: 12-18 months. Collagen stimulation extends effective duration beyond thread absorption.
Clinical Evidence
Risks & Side Effects
Swelling (3-5 days), mild pain, tip tenderness. Rare thread exposure (if nasal tip skin is thin), infection, asymmetry. Requires physician with thorough nasal anatomical knowledge.
