Morpheus8

RF microneedling with gold-coated needles for dramatic skin transformation

Duration
30-60 min
Downtime
3-7 days
Sessions
1-3 sessions (4-6 wk intervals)

About This Treatment

Morpheus8 combines fractionated radiofrequency with insulated, gold-coated microneedles to deliver RF energy deep into the dermis (up to 5mm). The radiofrequency energy radiates from needle tips, creating a powerful collagen remodeling effect while minimizing surrounding tissue damage.

It offers superior energy conduction efficiency compared to standard RF treatments and targets deeper structural changes, making it particularly effective for deep wrinkles, significant sagging, and severe acne scars. Results develop progressively from immediate tightening through 6 months post-treatment.

Mechanism of Action

49 insulated microneedles deliver RF energy in a radial pattern from each needle tip, reaching depths of 100-500μm depending on settings (up to 5mm at maximum). Controlled thermal injury stimulates immediate collagen contraction and initiates a 3-6 month collagen remodeling cascade. Linear scanning pattern ensures uniform coverage.

Expected Results

Immediate tightening visible after first session. Visible results accelerate at 3-4 weeks. At 3 months: 30-50% improvement in deep wrinkles, 20-40% improvement in skin laxity, 25-60% improvement in atrophic acne scars. Results maintain for 6-12 months.
