Milk Light NIR

Near-infrared light therapy for deep collagen stimulation

About This Treatment

Milk Light NIR uses near-infrared (NIR) light at 850-1064nm wavelengths for non-invasive phototherapy. NIR penetrates deeply (1-2mm into dermis) with minimal absorption by melanin or hemoglobin.

NIR is absorbed by mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase (CCO), enhancing ATP production. Energy-boosted fibroblasts accelerate collagen synthesis. No thermal damage = no pain, zero downtime. Progressive benefits with cumulative treatments.

Mechanism of Action

NIR (850-1064nm) has low melanin/hemoglobin absorption, penetrating deeply into dermis. Absorbed by mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase (Complex IV), activating electron transport chain. NADH oxidation and O₂ reduction accelerated → increased ATP synthesis ("photobiomodulation"). Elevated ATP enhances fibroblast collagen synthesis, improves blood flow, boosts antioxidant defense. Repeated treatments progressively increase dermal collagen density.

Indications

Elasticity / firmnessPigmentation / dullnessWrinkles / fine linesBody contouring / slimmingGeneral indication (see detailed description)

Expected Results

Limited visible effect after single session; by 3-4 sessions (weekly), radiance improves. After 8-10 sessions (8-10 weeks): 20-30% firmness increase, reduced dullness, enhanced luminosity, 15-25% fine line reduction. Peak effects at 3-6 months. Regular maintenance (1-2x/month) sustains long-term improvement.
