Mechanism of Action
The 755nm alexandrite wavelength has high melanin absorption for selective photothermolysis of hair follicles. The 1064nm Nd:YAG reaches deeper with lower melanin absorption, safe for dark skin types and effective for vascular lesions via hemoglobin absorption. DCD sprays cryogen pre-pulse for epidermal protection.
