About This Treatment

Fotona 4D Pro combines Er:YAG (2940nm, ablative) and Nd:YAG (1064nm, non-ablative) wavelengths in a 4-step protocol: ① SmoothLiftin: Light ablative resurfacing to remove damaged epidermis ② FRAC3: Fractional deep dermis stimulation for collagen remodeling ③ PIANO: Non-ablative thermal remodeling of superficial dermis ④ SupErficial: Final epidermal polishing and surface refinement

This comprehensive approach addresses wrinkles, laxity, pores, and pigmentation in a single treatment.

Mechanism of Action

Er:YAG (2940nm) is strongly water-absorbed, efficiently ablating epidermis with minimal collateral heat. Nd:YAG (1064nm) has low melanin absorption and penetrates deeply to heat dermal collagen. The 4 steps work synergistically: SmoothLiftin removes damaged epidermis, FRAC3 fractionally stimulates deep dermis for collagen genesis, PIANO thermally remodels mid-dermis for tightening, SupErficial polishes surface.

Indications

Expected Results

Comprehensive multi-level improvement in single treatment. Immediate skin transparency from epidermal regeneration. At 2-4 weeks, visible collagen remodeling with 30-50% wrinkle reduction, 25-40% pore size reduction, 40-60% overall skin texture improvement. Results last up to 12 months. Cumulative benefits with repeated sessions.
