AestheFill (PDLLA)
PDLLA biostimulator for sustained collagen production
About This Treatment
AestheFill is a lyophilized poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) powder reconstituted at variable dilutions. Unlike PLLA (Sculptra), it uses racemic polylactic acid containing both D and L forms.
The proprietary "AestheCode" system allows flexible dilution from D1.5 (high concentration: nose/chin augmentation) to D24 (ultra-low: broad skin rejuvenation), with lower nodule risk than PLLA.
Mechanism of Action
PDLLA microspheres serve as scaffolding in dermis/subcutis. Fibroblasts adhere to and proliferate on microsphere surfaces, producing type I and III collagen. PDLLA fully hydrolyzes in 8-12 months into lactic acid→CO2+H2O, leaving only neocollagen network.
Indications
Expected Results
Initial effect at 2-4 weeks (hydration swelling). Sustained improvement from neocollagen at 3-6 months. Effects last 12-18 months. 2-3 series treatments for optimal results.
Clinical Evidence
Risks & Side Effects
Injection site swelling/redness (3-5 days). Nodule formation (lower incidence than PLLA but possible). Granuloma (extremely rare). Asymmetry. Proper dilution selection is technically critical.
