XERF is a Cynosure Lutronic dual-frequency monopolar RF tightening device. It gained visibility in Korea and has expanded after US FDA clearance. It is positioned as a maintenance tightening and texture treatment that delivers heat across superficial and deeper layers with lower discomfort than some older monopolar RF treatments.
작용 기전
The 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz frequencies are combined to deliver volumetric heating from dermis to superficial subcutis. Thermal stimulation promotes collagen contraction and neocollagenesis.
적응증
기대 효과
Tightening and texture changes are assessed over weeks to 3 months. Large device-specific RCT data remain limited, so counseling should separate general monopolar RF evidence from product materials.
임상 근거
위험 및 부작용
Warmth, redness, swelling, tenderness and rare burns may occur. Pacemakers, metal implants and pregnancy require contraindication review.
