Blepharoplasty corrects upper eyelid skin excess and heaviness, or lower eyelid bags, hollows and laxity. Demand is high in the US, Korea and Japan, especially when nonsurgical treatments cannot address redundant skin or fat prolapse.

Excess skin excision, orbital fat removal/repositioning and orbicularis/support adjustment improve eyelid opening, bags and tear trough contour.
적응증
기대 효과
Swelling improves over 2-6 weeks and scars mature over months. Structural skin/fat excess can improve more definitively than with nonsurgical care.
임상 근거
위험 및 부작용
Swelling, bruising, scarring, asymmetry, dry eye, ectropion, diplopia, infection, hematoma and rare visual loss may occur. Ophthalmic evaluation may be needed.
