Depressed scars, raised scars, and color changes need different plans, and combination treatment may be considered. Ask for an assessment of scar type, active acne, skin tone, history of keloids, previous procedures, and acceptable downtime before choosing a device. Improvement may require multiple sessions and time; an in-person assessment is more reliable than selecting from a photo alone.
